When I told one of my students that he would have to stay and finish a missing assignment, he yelled, "Come on!" Thinking in my head, Yeah, come on... if you had your work done, you could play board games.... I responded, "Come on? What does that mean?"
His reply, "Well... uh... well... when you get to be a kid, you'll understand."

Teachers have the best stories. I think your middle school stories are probably a bit tamer than the ones I get from my high school students but they're all funny! It's amazing what comes out of their mouths!
