I am excited to participate in Kendi's 30x30. It'll be my second time. Overall, I think it's almost a relief to narrow down my closet to thirty choice pieces and have to use them for thirty days. I don't have to look - or even think about - anything else in my closet. Some days it's hard to think of what to do with the pieces I chose... but it really makes it easier for me to think to myself, "Okay, I have to choose an outfit. Figure something out from these clothes!"
But. (There's always a "but," isn't there?) I can't start it on time. I have a field trip tomorrow with my class to a ski hill (kids are learning ski hill math and science... how fun is that?!). I'm not going to waste a few of my precious thirty items on cold, winter, field trip apparel. So I shall start my 30x30 after.
I'm contemplating doing the 30x30 sans pants. Can it be done? Last time I had two pairs, but I really don't wear pants during the week much anyway. Hmm.... thoughts?
What I wore... today. This shirt was in my last 30x30, so I won't be using it again. The skirt, on the other hand, was not in my last 30x30 but very well might end up in the new one. So get used to seeing it. A lot. ;)
Love the vibrancy of the skirt! That field trip sounds fun! x
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that you are doing this pantless.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds weird.
But as a new reader, I'm looking forward to your 30 for 30 posts!
The outdoor shots are super cute! I love this look! Pink (or is that purple?) and black look great together. Are you guys going skiing, too? Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit, the skirt is so cute and fun! And MAJOR props to you girl if you do this sans pants! I was so so tempted to, but couldn't do it in the end.
ReplyDeleteGreat skirt! I only have one pair of jeans and one pair of pants (which I'll be wearing today) in my 30. I really wear skirts and dresses a lot. I added the jeans for lounging around at home or at friends'. If you have plenty of sweater tights, go for it!
ReplyDeleteCome check out my 30! Jen Hemming and Hawing Again.
